Hi all!
My latest project has been some titanium bracelets, which I make by basically heating strips of titanium in segments, and banging it into shape around a section of pipe(I'd like to pretend that there's more finesse involved, but really, there isn't..)
I put a surface texture on the last one I did, similar to the way Bill Coye showed how he textures his G10 handles.
I'm now mulling over what kind of color finish to put on it. I've anodized Ti before using current, and have dabbled in head coloring a couple of times, but with uneven results.
What does everyone here use to heat color their Ti? Furnace? Blowtorch of some kind? Any tips for an even/clean finish? Thanks!
