Gaboon Handled Chef's Knife

My first chef's knife. OAL 11-3/4" with a 7-1/2" cutting edge. Gaboon ebony with brass pins. 1095 steel with Hamon.

Really like the gabon (ebony) with its contrasts and the intersection of the front of the handle continuing from the tang for a short distance over the blade
