I have two friend whose don't have a lot of tool to make knives. They often meet them to show the last knives they bought. In a PM a had a bad reading of a word and understood they meet them to build knives together. I found the idea fun to meet a friend and to build knives together. (they haven't any experience in the knifemaking world, they use and collect knives, but don't make them).
For the fun, i built them two small custom higonokami kit
Kit
Xc75 blade, 3mm thick, with differential hardening, tempered, etched and sharpened. Flat grind, file work on the spin.
2 Black G10 piece
1 Pivot of 5mm (the pivot hole is reamed to 4.99mm
2 ertalite TX washer
2 Long spacer M3 of 5mm. With that two piece, it's possible to do 4 spacer of the right size.
6 M3 Screw, and 2 M3 Pan Head Screw.
