Folder design in the works

Ok guys. I really want to make another folder I have a frame lock in the works that I need to get around to finishing but not sure I like the design. So I came up with this one and want to know what you all think. Is this design something you would carry edc?
I want to make it as a liner lock to hide the stop pin, use some peel ply texture g10. Nice clean simple nothing crazy. Blade is right at 3" overall tip to butt 7 1/4".
Input wanted. Let me know your thoughts.

That looks like it's coming along nicely. one thing I would think about is the cut line for the lock in the liner, I'd move that up a little bit to give the lock bar more beef.

I totally agree with you on that I had drawn that in on a previous version and just never changed it.

Looks good. It's got very nice lines and flow.

BTW there's a way to hide the stop pin on a frame lock. I do it on my folders. At least on the rare occasion that I finish one. :)

True but I also want to be able to use g10 for both sides or another material besides Ti. What have you been working on? I like your designs.

Hey, thank you!

Right now I'm finishing up a hunter.

Then I think I'm going to do the belt conversion on my surface grinder.

I'm going to hold off on starting any new projects until I see what happens with the KITH.

I'm slow and may need every day possible to finish the KITH knife and I don't want to have 1/2 done knives laying around.

I did a few different blade styles on my lunch break today. A clip point and a drop point.
Along with the original harpoon. The handles are a little different on the other too made them a bit more narrow.
Thoughts?

I like the top one the best. It's more Pressonesque with the harpoon fin. Flippers tend to be more beefy and more on the tactical side, so the top one fits right in. I do like the other two designs as well though, but the top one appeals to me the most.

There are two possible "issue" areas that I see in the design.... 1. The "pocket" that is in the blade where it contacts the stop pin (in the open position) is going to be an area that will get "clogged" quickly in a daily carry knife. Meaning that "stuff" will gather there, and you will have to clean it out often to ensure "lock up" in the "blade open" position. 2. I'm a bit iffy on the flipper tab. In my experience, when you try to create a flipper tab that extends in the open position and acts as a guard, when in the closed position it is usually isn't forward enough to provide ample inertia/power to easily "flip" it open. Those are simply areas that I have noticed become annoyances over time/use, and need to be carefully considered when designing/building a flipper. In the end, if it's gona be your knife, only you can make the determination(s).
