I am so excited about this knife, that I am going to use this as my platform for the future. One-off knives are amazing and wonderful, but it is hard for people to recognize you as a maker until you have a flagship (IMHO). I will be taking this same design up to a 4" blade and down to a 2.25" blade also. Everything about it just feels so right.

3" blade, 1/8" thick
Aldo's 1084, hand rubbed to 800 then polished with Super Polishing Paste.
Right hand chisel grind to 0.010 and convex edge
0.071" Ti liners
Alabama Damascus bolster on presentation side with black linen micarta scale and full black linen micarta scale on opposite side.
Spacer is the same black linen micarta, scalloped on each edge
SS thumbstud and hardware

Lock up is tight with about half of the 0.071" liner and no blade-play.

Thanks Mark. I agree... I've been making fixed blades and folders at random for almost 2 years, and FINALLY I finished something that just jumped out at me and said "ok, this is it... you need to do this one over and over".

I'll be adding a clip later on, but it is finished other than that. Except for a name. I have a bit of a running convo on FB to help me pick a name. so far, nothing has grabbed me.

Dent - my own idea... like Harvey Dent (Two-face) since the scales are different on each side.
