First Try At Hamone

This is the first try of a Hamone with Aldo’s 1075. Not completely happy with it but I think I learned some things that will make the next one better. This will also be my first time working with sheep’s horn and I plan on doing domed brass pins. That will be a first too. Might be a disaster before it’s done. :)

Mais bruh! That’s awesome! I love it.

Edit: “Mais bruh” is a good thing, but I don’t know how to explain it lol. It sounds like - May bruh.

That Hamon came out real good. It's like the perfect hieght from the edge and I like that it comes up on the ricasso so where the edge starts is nice and strong hard steel.

Randy, I'd be thrilled to have a hamon come out like that one. I have also wanted to use sheep's horn for scales but I have heard of problems of them moving with exposure with moisture or drying out. Regardless, that's a knife to be proud of.
