First leather carving project.

Needed to get some leather carving practice in because I want to do some bar stools soon. Found a design then traced it on some tracing paper then traced it from the tracing paper to the leather with a stylus. Some fun with the swivel knife coming tomorrow!

Just realized I traced the paper on the wrong side. The stars where supposed to be on the left. Lol

That looks great to me Daniel, I didn’t even notice the orientation of the flag till you mentioned it, carving is fun. Just be careful where you use the modeling tool

That looks really great! I tried my hand at this in High School WAY back in 1976. This lived on the back of my Levi jacket for many years and now just hangs on my wall...

Something i've always wanted to do, but i have ZERO talent when it comes to leather carving!!haha I admire the people that can do that and make it look good!
