hi,
first knife i made from scratch is in the middle. blade is 1084, handle is maple. have two more in work, pictures in Asian section.
others are blades i bought from premimum knife supply. far left knife has handle of dogwood. the others are spalted maple.

The blades are looking nice. I think that you did a real nice job on that first one which appears to be an integral. The handles could use a little more work; they seem to be a little blocky, though that could be accentuated a little by the photography. Try rounding the edges and the flats just a little. They might feel a little better in the hand.

thank you for the advise
i continue to work the handles. i have rounded the edges and angles the flats so it "feels right" in my hand. my biggest issue is figuring out which tool works the best and is the most forgiving. a different photo stage is also in work.
