First knife of 2020 Kiridashi EDC

I had a chunk of 80crv2 laying around and I was tired of being a custom knife maker and using a $3 Walmart knife every time I needed to cut something . With all the hours I put in the shop last year, with all 38 knives I finished, with all the new designs I worked up, I still didn’t carry one of my knives! So it seemed fitting to start off 2020 making myself a knife to carry daily. It really isn’t much but it’s one heck of a box cutter!

Nice design for a daily box cutter. Should work well for that purpose.

I made myself a really nice hunting knife. Every time I go deer hunting, I carry my well worn Buck 110. Go figure. Old habits.

I made a San mai hunter with leopard wood scales years ago and I hated it when it was finished. That is my hunter now. The blade is fine it is just as plain Jane as you can get.
