Here's my first hatchet.I really didn't want to make it but it's for a neibor and he drew it up.
I started with a plate of 440-C, put a hollow grind on it, a gut hook, some notches for the thumb area and did some ball end milling to dress it up a little. into the oven it goes tomorrow.
