Recently completed this one for a fellow artist in Montana. The blade is 11 1/2 inches of random damascus with heavy forge texture,OALof 17 1/2",scales are mammoth ivory, and the shell guard and fileworked handle frame are heat colored wrought iron form an old train car.The sheath has something that is a first for me.The fellow that I made this for is a jewelry artist that cuts and polishes his own stones, and he sent this beautiful cab of Biggs Jasper that I bezel set in copper and mounted on the sheath. The colors and patterns in the stone match those of the ivory perfectly! The fantastic photo is by Chuck Ward.

In case your wondering,I traded this knife for this fantastic multi stone and and silver bracelet that also include a few pieces of mammoth and walrus ivory,as well as a 10 carat emerald and a six carat ruby that I sent for inclusion in this piece!
