Looking to get and use Ferric Chloride for the first time. Is there any types or brands that anyone recommends to buy or any to stay away from? This is one that I was looking at. Thoughts?

That's what I use. Works fine.
 
I have used what you found, 3 (or 4) to 1 ratio, distilled water first at 3 parts than the 1 part ferric. That is what I found when researching last year and works fine. Useful link below.

Ferric chloride how do I mix it

Am wanting suggestions or advice of how to mix the ferric chloride to etch a blade black.
