So a friend and I went to Dragons Breath Forge today in Wolcott CT. Matt Parkinson and Jamie Lundell own and operate the place. They had a "Holiday" meet there. They had some other builders and crafts people selling their wares. Matt and Jamie were doing forging demonstrations for the crowd on hand. It was a blast!! Many beautiful knives and swords were on hand. Some of the pattern welded steel was AMAZING!! Of all the stuff I looked at the one thing that really caught my eye is this...
I asked the Smith how this was done, he told me it was all hand fit. It was beautifully done. He let me handle the knife, it was very light and well balanced. In my opinion it was the Show Stopper. What a GREAT day!!
