different razor

Another razor I just finished, something a little different. 1095 steel with a dirty hamon and a firewood stand. All comments are welcome good bad or otherwise

Shave? you mean cut the whiskers off my face? Actually the client wants to sharpen it themselves so its going out dull. The edge is about 5 thousandths thick

Yes,I mean cut whiskers off you face :biggrin:
I see a lot of beautifully made straight razors and I can't help but wonder how well they work. I've never shaved myself with one but have been shaved quite a few times by a barber that knew what he was doing,way back when I was in the Army.

Wow I like the simplicity as well as the thought to forge that razor. The dirty hamon is cool with the damascus looking pattern along the spine.
