I etch both my serial numbers and maker's mark into my blades. I've also done names, initials, things like that. My questions are -
The blue stencil material sheets that Martronics supplies has a film on both sides that must be removed prior to developing, is there a difference between it and the material available at usaknifemaker?
Developer solution, just what is this stuff and does it vary for application or is it all a similar product?
I don't know anything about the process or chemistry involved aside from that if I do it "right" I get usable stencils...I'd like to know more. I'm leery of mixing and matching stencil material and developer from different suppliers at this point.
