Damascus & Walnut Hunter

J. Doyle

Dealer - Purveyor
Here's a sweet little hunter I just finished. This is pretty compact but still a lot of blade and fully capable.

Forged blade of 1084/15n20 Damascus. Black g-10 guardcand collar. Fileworked bronze accents. Oil finished curly Claro walnut handle. 4 1/4" blade, 8 3/4" overall.

The workmanship and detail in this knife absolutely blows me away, John. Do you make the Damascus yourself, buy billets or what? How did this blade come to be? When I first ran into highly figured walnut like this, I was just mesmerized. What about a sheath, do you make those as well? What do you charge for a knife and sheath of this quality? Just incredible.

Thanks guys.

Thank you. I appreciate your kind words.

I make my own Damascus.

How did this blade come to be?
It's forged crushed w's then laddered. Steels are 1084 and 15n20.

I have Claude Scott make all my leather sheaths. He is a real pro in the leather work arena and can offer a sheath that really compliments my knives and completes the package.

What do you charge for a knife and sheath of this quality? Just incredible.
I'll send you a private message.
