This is just finished a gents bowie with 6" feather damascus of 1095 and 15N20, 4 3/4" frame handle with bone with stainless pins, frame is 416 stainless.
I would like to hear what you think of this one.

Wow Mike! That's gorgeous!

Amazing damascus and I LOOOOVE how polished bone makes a knife really "pop"!

The fit & finish look excellent, but the one area it seems a little different in proportion is the length of the swedge. I know there isn't a rule book on knives but the traditional length of the swedge on a Bowie is about one quarter to one third .

Since this looks like you were going for a period Gold Rush look the length makes it look a bit more of a Gambler's fighter. Perhaps just changing the title would do it?

Just some food for thought, I am by no means a certified Bowie expert, This was just my initial thoughts after reading Bowie and then looking at the knife.
