Thanks to you all for the nice comments! The damascus bolsters are a different pattern then the blade.

The handle material was not decided on until the end so we went with a twisted birdseye combo on the bolsters that would pretty much complement and go with any handle material we chose.

II really gota say that the cottonwood burl on these stole the show. The buterscotch color and almost mother of pearl like shimmer and chatoyance in the wood is simply beautiful!
