Here's a new folder I finished last week. I wanted to make a folding version of my guardless hunters. I deliberately kept this clean and streamlined, with no thumbstud, opening hole/slot, pocket clip, lock release cutout etc.

Its a front opener/flipper utilizing the fileworked tab in front of the bolsters.

Blade is 3 1/2" long of my own 1084/15n20 Damascus, carbon fiber bolsters, g-10 scales with carbon fiber window inlays, black g-10 backspacer, jeweled titanium lock and liners.

That's a beautiful piece of edged art. I love the details coupled with the simpleness of design. Very nicely done.
 
Don't fall victim to pretty pictures! You really need to handle a blade to judge it properly and our internet driven society has people fawning over nothing more than pretty images. I had a chance to handle this blade today. It is beautifully light, as an easy carry folder should be, and an edge geometry that is so spot on that I would tell people to study in order to get a using edge done right. So I can safely say that the real thing coincides with what you are seeing!
