Just finishing up a dagger for export.
This one was a challenge mostly because of the gold. Thats not brass guys thats 14 kt gold with nickel pins. The blade is some of my dual mosaic as are the quillions and pommel. The sheath is fiberglas with deer skin covering. The throat and tip is the only place for engraving so Jere Davidson kinda went crazy there.
The ivory is the whitest mammoth Ive ever seen. It came from the core of the tusk so apparently was protected from elements for thousands of years undergound.

Bruce - Words fail me. that is WOW!!! So much detail. That is some white mammoth for sure. Beautiful!

Wow Bruce,I'm like Ken,pretty much speechless. Going over and over the closeup photos,trying to imagine how you did things will keep me busy for a while. Thank you for posting this with all the different photos.
An awesome,beautiful,and incredibly difficult job done masterfully.
 
Very cool Bruce. Interesting the way you did the wire wrap, especially at the front. Really nice work.
