Cutting the liner lock in titanium

Guy's , I was wondering how one goes about cutting the lock in a titanium liner , any help is greatly appreciated , thanks.

I have made a simple sliding holder for my heavy duty flex shaft Dremel . (Sorry I can't send a picture) I know makers who place a cut off wheel in their drill press, mount the liner in a drill press vise and slide that along. I did the first ones free hand.
Take care on the length of the cut. on a folder with a handle about 4" long and with a .050 liner or so stay with about an 1 1/4" cut. Long cuts can produce by rebending into the blade or the scale. Frank

Thanks Frank , I think I will put a cut off wheel in my mill , that seems to me to be controllable . I thank you on the advise on the length of cut seeing that my handle is about 4'' and .55 titanium.

Fred. It may seem too short but it will work well. I should also add to place the bend right near the start of the cut. Do not bend it in a curve. I have a 1/4" piece of micarta with a saw blade cut in it that I use. Frank
