It's a fitting tribute to its founder, Kit Carson, who passed away in the Fall of 2014. Based off the original M16 design, these tactically inspired knives are ready to conquer your civilian tasks. They feature an AUS 8 stainless steel tanto blade that's tough, holds an edge well and is easier to sharpen in the field than tool steel. It looks great out of the box but even better in action. Use the Carson Flipper to quickly deploy the blade. It's ready to be called into duty for your daily tasks. Meanwhile a LAWKS manual safety feature sets a pin against the locking liner to hold the liner in place. You're good to go through anything with the M16-02S Classic.
