I was given some 2 x 72 belts when I bought my Square wheel grinder 5 yrs ago. But can't remember the grit. I have some 3m belts that say 40 U, and some Trizac 307 ea A-6 . I can't find any place to get the answer,so was hoping someone here knows the answer. Thanks Tom

I'm not sure about the 40U but Trizact A6 = 2500 grit.

Name - Grit

3M Trizact Belts
A45 - 400
A30 - 600
A16 - 1200
A10 - 1500
A6 - 2500
A5 - 3000
A3 - 4000

Norax Belts
100X - 220
65X - 400
45X - 650
16X - 800
5X - 1300

I think the 3M 40U belts are 320 grit, but there should be more numbers of the belts to look at...
