Christmas gift from Kev...

I got my Christmas gift from Kev today !
unfortunately I'm away from the house today so the wife opened it and sent me a picture, I put it to imgur so I could post it here,
It's some great handle material, she said it appears to be stabilized so I believe her, she's pretty smart after all these years of being stuck with a knife maker it's Turkish walnut, Box Elder Burl, Amboyna Burl, Stag slabs, and some titanium rods.
Thanks Kev, all four are going to make great handles, I'll post up as I use them.

I'm away from my house today because I'm working on a super big uber awesome Christmas present to myself that I've waited thirty years for......I hope to post a picture of "it" on Sunday.

I can see Kev did the same thing Fred (my Santa) did - totally ignored the $25 max for gift. You did really good!

I’m glad you like it. Sorry it was late. Things got crazy there for a minute. Your wife was right, all the wood is stabilized except the walnut (I have found it doesn’t need it necessarily, most of that stuff is 30+ years old and is pretty stable).
Believe it or not, and I’m a touch ashamed to say it, but shipping was the most expensive part. All of the pieces were either given to me or traded for services. But I’m sure if you went to buy it the value is certainly there.
