Well here is a different take on a design I am fond of making.
CF copper bolsters and pins
1095 steel with a 3 1/2 inch blade

Be careful with the pics, Big Brother is watching!! I have heard Facebook is kicking folks off for pictures that lend themselves to violence!! I think it is OK as long as you do not discuss in public. One guy said they are asking potential clients to PM them to discuss purchases. Not sure if there is truth to this or urban rumor!!

I have done a couple with copper and like how it contrasts with other material and that micarta does lend itself to the combination. Have a sgian dubh at the moment that will have copper and either ebony or jarrah so copper and black or copper and dark redish brown.

Bladegrinder I don't mind it but only bolsters I have done that was not copper I did from a old file for a keith knife I did. So can't tell you if better or worse lol
