Hey guys, I represent those statement!! Just joking . I have actually seen the stuff while browsing the internet knife sites but it really doesn't appeal to me. There are some others out there that I do like, voodoo resins. I've got a nice set of Devils Kraken scales stashed away waiting for the right blade.
Kevin, I bet you would like the voodoo resins scales and they would look awesome on some of your blades. He has a facebook site.

The carvex stuff is pretty neat... not really my style but like you said, would probably be awesome on a themed knife for sure. For example I bet Justin Presson could find a use for these.
