Carbidized titanium knives

Just got 3 small titanium kiridashis carbidized on one side. I am new to the titanium knife making so how sharp should the edge be? It was put on one side, it seems less sharp than it was before I sent it off to be car iodized. Please give me some insight on this. Thanks
The practice on these is to carbidize one side. In use the softer non-carbidized side wears away leaving the thin, sharp, toothy carbide edge. The carbide edge is around .005" thick.
