Here is something a little different, it is a modern California style knife, nickel silver sheath, damascus blade steel by Buzz Johns JS , the handle is made in three pieces is steel blued with silver inlay, the engraving and inlay is done by Edwin Scotton. Wayne, the california knife originated in San Francisco from 1850 to 1900 the biggest makers were Will & Fink and Michael Price, this knife is not a true copy, the sheath is close the handle is not it was designed by Franz Marktl, I made three of his designed knives in the California style. Go to the internet and look up Michael Price and Will & Fink there is lots of info. on them Deane
