Are there any other wood stabilizers besides Cactus Juice that work well. I can't believe the cost of that stuff!! Thanks!

There's a few others out there but like everything, you get what you pay for. that's why you hear of DIYers mostly using cactus juice.
I've contemplated trying this for years but the set up price, equipment needed, foot print in the shop and results always made me change
my mind and just send my wood to KNG.

I do limited home stabilizing but have only used CJ. I spoke to the guy who makes SOS 3.0 stabilizing resin at Blade Show this year his is slightly cheaper ($10 or so) but he claims his resin does not foam like CJ. His claim is you can turn your pump on and walk away. I am going to try it at some point.

Then they recently dropped their prices. Every time I have bought CJ it was $100 a gallon or a little more. They must be responding to some competition that is a good thing. I also saw where they recently “re-formulated” more than likely also a response to competition.
I just checked too, you got me, the CJ is now literally 5 cents cheaper...
