Man, I can't work on anything for 3 weeks!! Due to some family issues I can't get to my shop to do anything!! The only bright spot is next Saturday I'm going to a forging class! I need to build a new forge, stopped, knife construction, stopped. That was my pressure relief valve! Back to watching TV!! Now I remember why I started this hobby!! End of Rant!! Sorry guys!!

I understand the frustration. I will be away from my shed for a few weeks in may and while I may be doing something else I wont be making knives so thata will weigh a bit.
 
Hate to hear that 07 :(. When it got really cold here in NC, I couldn't get out to the shop without freezing and that's no fun.
Then I got a call from the company I used to work for and they wanted me to come back to work part time. The good news was it gives me some funding to buy knife stuff, the bad news is it takes time away from knife making.
I hope your situation works itself out sooner than later. Enjoy that forging class, it should be a lot of fun.
 
It will get better. Family illnesses are something that many deal with not easy for sure. Just need to vent sometimes. Thanks for the kind words.
 
Like you said, Gliden, it is issues we all have to deal with. Since wife got ill, (about 10yrs. ago now) and I have everything inside and outside, as well as be there for her and well..........! It seems like some days I got nothing left in the tank to make knives. Lately I have been having some health issues of my own. So I steal a little time here and there and someday I will finish another one. LOL
Hey don't feel bad about venting, it might not help but sometimes it feels better to get it off your chest! Will keep you and yours in my prayers!!
