Bought a surface grinder

So I scored this nice Brown and sharp 3000 ctr 824 surface grinder this evening in a auction! Now for the tricky part of finding someone to load and haul it for me!

She’s a big girl. I’ll be a nervous wreck till I Find someone to get it here and I look it over real good. I admittedly wasn’t able to go and look at it but a friend that I trust told me it was in good shape and I had a gut feeling It was all right. I got a good price on it so even if there is problems it’s not the end of the world I guess.

well the good thing is you can put a chair on the chuck and ride it while you read the manual and make adjustments as you watch it grind.

It is currently three phase but I should be able to step it down to run on the shop 220 with a VFD

Absolutely! May be a few months before I actually get it operational but I can’t wait to get it running.

WOW congrats, that's a grown one for sure!, you could probably pick up some contract work once you get it all set up and familiar with it.
