One I built just for fun, to get myself back into the groove.

5/32" CPM154CM
HT by Peter's

9.25" OAL
4.5" blade
Flat ground with a nice tall swedge (just for Murph's enjoyment)
bolt on scales, so it doesn't always have to be orange. :)
These are the lime green liners that Boss was sending out earlier this year.

Going to go back and drill out the lanyard hole and one hole above the front bolt. to make it a little more prepared for any and all camping needs. Also thinking about adding a few holes in the sheath for tying it onto a pack if needed.

The sheath is 0.093 blaze orange kydex and is molded as one-piece. No bolts, rivets or fasteners on this one! I rolled the belt loop, so that if you are wearing track-pants or something similar with a drawstring and NO belt, you can still clip the loop over your pants.

Nice stuff, Brad.
I like the idea of the Kydex with no hardware. Let me know how it holds up.
If the scales come off, you can hollow out the back of them and put in a small ferro rod and starter. Use a hex bolt and hide the small allen key in the fold of the sheath. Just an idea.

Thanks Steve, the scales DO come off, and I really like the idea of the ferro-rod inside the handle.... but I don't think the scales are thick enough (just 1/8" plus the 0.030 liner), and I did not fully skeletonize the tang.

I was trying to think of way to mold a ferro rod into the sheath itself. might go back and do that later.

Nice.
PIE like the orange handle for a hunter. I spent 15 minutes once looking for my knife I had set down dressing a deer once. I wrapped orange tape around the handle next time. That was before making knives. Now I would use orange g10 for th a handle and make a hunter with it.

Nice looking knives and fascinating kydex concepts- I like the orange as I have about lost knifes around gut piles too. I use a bright color of paracord for lanyard to help this problem but the orange scales are better- gonna have to make one.

Great looking knife and good job having the black to compare it to. I have never lost a knife in the woods but an elk hunting partner lost his whole butt pack after taking it off to do his duty, he just walked away from it and couldn't find his way back to where it was.:s11779: Wade

Thanks guys! I'm camping this weekend at the Spring River in north Arkansas. I'll finally get a chance to put these 2 to actual work! :)
