One drop of Fiebing's leather dye works awesome just make sure you mix the epoxy fist then add dye then mix it in.

When I want dark epoxy I use the Shafting Epoxy from Golfsmith. It's black (or pretty close to it) as it comes from the store, and it faired pretty well in the infamous Glue Wars shootout.

Just wanted to add that I tried one of my wife's acrylic paint bottle. Used just one drop and it was perfect, blends completely in the epoxy and dried as hard as usual. Not sure if this changes the composition enough to affect the holding power but sure looks good.

Brownells sell it for their acraglass epoxy bedding. I have used it for that and it works very well.
