28 cm blade, 460 layers of 75ni8 and O1.

Total length 42,5 cm.
Stabilized Koa handle.

Beautiful Erik! Thank for the link to the WIP also. After you etch the blade are you useing green rouge on your wheel to buff? One part confused me (which isn't hard to do :eek:) In the WIP you etch your name BEFORE you etch the blade not after ??

Doug, I etch my name before etching the damascus and buff with a white compuond. I have no other compound.
 
Another beautiful knife Erik.
Seems to be a bit larger than your usual knife.

Which knife maker will be getting this one?
I am just teasing you.
