Just completed.
Large Bowie-style knife with Ladder Pattern Damascus. Overall length is 17 1/2 inches. The blade is 12 1/2 inches long by 2 inches wide. The blade is all tool steel (1084/15N20). Desert Ironwood burl handle material. The fittings are made from wrought iron from a wagon wheel. The blade is edge-quenched. Vine filework on the thumb rest.
Surprisingly light for it's size.
