Bearing replacement, contact wheel

I have some good wheels w/bad bearings and vise-verse, how do you remove the bearings? I have a Harbor Freight hydraulic press and a small arbor press.

These are in a 2" beumont contact wheel and 2" idler wheel.

Thanks Mark

These pullers come in different sizes.

On the two inch wheels with 1/2" id bearing I install a long 7/16" bolt upside down near the end of my bench vise jaws....slide the bearing over the bolt head so the bolt head "hooks the back side of the bearing....tap the side of the wheel downwards while rotating around the hooked bolt head. This will only work if the shoulders of the hole in the wheel are shorter than the bearing id.

Thanks Rudy

I'll give the bolt and vise method a try.
Didn't know they made a small puller like that.:thumbup1:
