I am excited about this forum. I do well in a drama free online exchange. Maybe because I'm old or was taught manners, or maybe I'm too lazy to be mean? IDK. I have always loved knives. I was raised with: Don't point a gun at anything you don't want to shoot. Don't shoot anything you don't want to kill, and don't kill anything you don't want to skin and eat.
A knife was the first thing I bought with my own money (3rd or 4th grade) and by 7th grade I owned a book on making knives. Now I'm in 43rd grade and I am finishing my first knife, a Balisong: 5" D2 steel spear point blade.
Any way, maybe I waited this long so I don't rip off my finger in the drill press. (I'm just old enough now to follow simple direction the 2nd or 3rd time)

Just a bit of advice. Pictures! We love pictures! If you say you are making a knife we want pictures. If you say you took off a knuckle on the grinder, we want pictures! 2thumbs
