Well Sammy we are both from Wisconsin and all ways getting into something lol for me you can all ways visit my face book page Mya knives. We forged and pounded this steel out by hand at the knifedogs hammer inn and I believe boss has a video up on there utube channel if you want to see it. Peter is full time and me I'm more a hobby maker that works at it when he can. Hope that sheds a little light on us.

Thanks for the info. I am also a part-time maker, started with my dad Clyde Fischer way back. Got more serious in 2003 and am running about eight months behind on orders now. The eye of hurricane Harvey passed within about 20 miles of us, lots of wind, downed trees and roof damage but thank God no where near the rain that the Houston area received.
