Thank you for the nice words Ted, I posted a very short WIP showing how I did those type handles with spacers between two woods. To be sure they stay, they have a small brass pin that goes thru the spacer, and inserts into each of the woods. Not sure the pin is needed, but seems to be extra insurance.
