sorry to say but that's nothing, had -46 C and had an uncle a few hundred km south hit -50C durring that piriond then for boxing day hit +7C now where back to the average -5 to -20COh you light weights! And, this is coupled with power outages.
we had the problem that the fuel companies only treat there fuel for between -30C and -35 C when a truck is doing 100km/h in -30 the Windchill will freeze fuel lines also DEF freezes at -25 and some of the thawing systems dont work to good so computers will shut the trucks off
