Anyone using Fusion 360?

Looking down the road a bit I see needing a CNC CAM program. MasterCAM pricing is brutal. I use Solidworks standard for drawing and the CNC class I am taking uses Mastercam so I am getting a handle on that but sure would like to find a lower cost solution.

Has anyone tried Fusion 360? Any comments on it?

I used Fusion 360 for a little while about a year ago and liked it a lot. Only thing I didn't like was the internet connection requirement. I also started out doing 3D CAD in Solidworks and there was a little learning curve going from that to Fusion 360. Lately, I've been playing around with PyCAM (free) and it looks like it's going to meet my current needs. I have to edit and splice G code (using Notepad++), but it's not much of a hassle for what I'm doing so far...

YES!!!! I've been learning Fusion and I think it's amazing. I'm still not proficient at complex parts, but picking it up slowly. A great source of "how to's" is the YouTube channel, NYC CNC. John Saunders posts Fusion Friday segments and they are really helpful.
