Anyone Here Fabricate or Use Aluminum Tart/Pot Pie Pans for Custom Cookware?

Hey folks,

Slightly off the beaten path, but I’m curious. Has anyone here made or modified aluminum tart or pot pie pans, either for custom cookware or outdoor cooking setups? I know many of us work with aluminum from time to time, and I’m wondering what alloys or thicknesses you'd recommend for even heating and durability.

Also, do you think it’s worth making your own over buying disposable ones?

I’d love to hear thoughts from anyone who’s blended metalwork with kitchen use.

Pics welcome if you’ve done something similar!

Sorry but much like your previous post about log splitters this is a Knife building forum. I wouldn't expect much response. Trolling?
