Antler handle material

The first time I used the jigged bone I used micarta pins which are easier to grind down. Good luck with your blade build and I look forward to hearing and seeing your progress!.
Good looking knife for sure. Is that a certain color of jigged bone or do you dye it yourself? Also what type of bone is it?
 
I don't recall what the jigged bone was called but it came looking black. But polished up as you see here. I'll see if I can go on Culpeppers website and find out what I ordered and let you know. It was on sale, I do remember that. Here you go........
