Antique Carbon Fiber...

Antique being a relative term, this is the first piece of carbon fiber I ever saw or held.
It came from the Boeing plant in Philadelphia in the late 1970s. at the time it was being used in the production of the rotors for the new Osprey helicopter being produced at that plant.
it's kind of an ugly greenish color but holds a lot of value to me.
I'm sure I'll use it one day, possibly as handles on a knife for a retired chopper pilot.
I was told that at the time, this material was so new there was no MSDS sheets on it, and the employees working with it weren't even wearing respirators at first.
