Alatalo Scandi - Winter

So here is another of my latest knives, Winter.
This one sports a handle consisting of fossil walrus ivory, stabilized box elder burl and fossil sperm whale tooth.
There is extensive engraving on the handle which is built on a Mattias Styrefors damascus steel blade.

The sheath, as usual for me, is a full rawhide leather sheath with a damascus steel belt loop button.
This one is already sold, but I don't mind showing it one more time, its one of my favorites :)

If you want to keep up to date with my latest projects make sure to join my facebook page Arctic Knives.

Knife length is about 29cm or 11.4 inches.

absolutely stunning. unbelievable. i'm sure this knife would look amazing to any casual observer, but knowing how hard it is to pull off all of the little details here, i'm just slack-jawed looking at these pictures. fantastic work!

That's an amazing amount of intricate work all coming together to make one fabulous, unique knife. Dan

Cheers guys, I will be starting up a new project tomorrow if everything goes according to plan :)
