Advice for finishing Antler

Does anyone have advice on the best way to finish antler (whitetail )? Should I just leave it natural, stain it with something, use a type of oil, etc?

It really depends on what the antler looks like in its natural state. I have used fiebings leather dye mixed with denatured alcohol to stain antler light/medium brown. Some makers like it stained really dark. I have left some of it natural. Show us a picture of the antler and we can help you out a little bit better.

I have stained a couple but didn't like the results. Try a few different methods on scraps to see if you get the results your after. I have done a lot of elk antler knives and left them natural. I think they look good.
