A Santoku for someone's Christmas.

I'm doing my best to get Christmas orders out and just finished this one,A Santoku in A2 with double dyed stabilized quilted maple and a Ash storage sheath.

For some reason I just had a flashback to when John Belushi used to do the Samurai Delicatessen on SNL. That was back in the old days before it became all political and dumb. Man he was funny...

Its dyed twice so you get two different colors, as you turn this handle in the light it goes from light blue to dark blue to black.

Thanks for the explination. I was wondering if I was seeing 2 different colors or if that was just a double black to make that shine.
