A Nifty Little Tool to Sand Scales

The other day I was wanting to simply sand the face of a knife scale. It's a bit of a pain to do it by hand on the 2" belt.
But, I remembered buying this little gizmo at the SLC Blade Show for something like $5-10.
Works pretty slick.
But, it also can round the ends & corners if not careful. And, of course, sanding like this doesn't guarantee parallel faces.

That is something that would be easy to 3D print, "IF" a person had the file. Having to draw the holder up in 3D CAD is another project. Maybe somebody has the files?

When sanding scales I use 2 faced tape.
Just stick the handle material to another piece of wood it will hold. --- Most of the time if my scales are 1/4 inch or more thick, I just stick the scales together and I have enough thickness to hang on to. ---- I have even used the tape to stick my glass platen on my grinder.
