A New Journey

Hello all, I wish a Happy Easter and Passover to all those on here. I am starting a new project that some on here may be interested in so I thought I would share. I am starting to make a couple of PW Norwegian Langsaxes this week and am documenting the progress. Here is a link to the blog where you can check out some of my progress. Well everyone here is an update...the blade is done now onto the handle and scabbard!

great work so far. what kind of steels are they?
Are they heat treated yet?

Kevin, I used 1084 and 15N20 for the back bars and W1 for the edge bar. Here is a picture of the completed sword.
