So, I've been sitting on this order for a damascus santoku kitchen knife since October and decided its time to get it done. Didn't get any of the early pics, but they start after I made my W billet. Can't wait to get this thing finished!
Getting it nice and hot in the forge..
Squared it..
Cut it into 4 pieces and test etched the ends.
Thats all I got done today, but next steps will be forge welding the 4 pieces together, then cutting them at a 45 degree angle and ferry flipping them to put the pattern on the face...hopefully have some more pics soon!
